Help! Grooming advice needed.

Hello,
Here's Chloe feeling 'craaaazy'!
My Chloe gets professionally groomed every 8 weeks. However, the hair near her eyes gets long before her next appointment and needs trimming. The problem is, she won't let me any where near her with the scissors and even gets nasty. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? She will let me clean her eyes with a warm towel to get the gunk out. But that's all she'll allow.
Thanx!

  1. Have you thought of using barrettes (or even small elastics)? You simply part the hair in the middle. That is pretty standard for Lhasas. Buddy is groomed every four weeks so we don't have that problem, but the show Lhasas all wore barrettes. (I caution you that the elastics are much trickier than barrettes. Hope you're having a fine Sunday, Chloe!

  2. I say leave her eye hair alone. If she doesn't want to be "bitched" then don't "bitch" her. If she wants to be blind so be it. ADORABLE picture though :)

  3. I've tried the hair clips. But she's not too crazy about them and eventually shakes them off. I'm more concerned about the hair between her eyes on the bridge of her nose. She won't let me clip those. Thanks for your thoughts! :)
